ON DAYS LIKE THIS
On days like this I sit in front of the computer, surfing from news site to news site, hoping that something dramatic is going to happen. One of the most frustrating aspects of the terrorist war is that it is not fought in decisive battles. A massacre occurs in an Israeli residential neighbourhood but there is no full-scale mobilization, no declaration of war, no call up of the reserves, only the drip drip dripping of local actions.
The blood has been washed away and the names announced. The King of the Muqata`a sits and smiles at his work.
Perhaps the time has come to drag him out of his pit and check his teeth.
