ANTI-DEMOCRATIC

Congrats to the Jerusalem Post for being the only Israeli newspaper I have seen on-line to state clearly what everyone who has grown up in a democracy knows: that the elected government alone has the right to negotiate on behalf of the people.

Anything else is anti-democratic and should be illegal. It makes one all the more angry when the far left ran on this very platform at the last election and were trounced. Yossi Beilin is acting like an unelected Marxist would-be dictator, and is making a mockery of the democratic process in Israel.
